Took a picture of this young Oak Tree. The leaves have multiple deep lobes. Acorn galls: The round structures on the stems are likely oak galls, specifically knopper galls, caused by a gall wasp (Andricus quercuscalicis). The oak is synonymous with Irish language placenames such as Doire Fhíonáin
