Here are two of the Disappearing 9 Patch squares I made as examples of the creativity in quilting for our church’s VBS. Each was made using the same fabrics in the same position. Does anyone else think Frank Lloyd Wright when looking at the one on the right? #quiltsky

Not technically a quilt, but this weaving of green strips was a quick project. A group effort inspired by Moda Fabrics’ free Windsor Tote pattern. #quiltsky

One of seven quilts I designed and made with our group for our high school graduates. Each had a framed panel feat. the skyline of Seattle, a ferry heading to our island, and a jet departing for adventure. Each grad’s initials in Morse code are above it. Northwest themed fabrics were used. #quiltsky

Dinner tonight was inspired by #booksky Tenderheart by Hetty Lui McKinnon. Her recipe for Everything Bread Soup, in the Tomato chapter, was amazing! Thankful, too, for the loan by my public library, @krl.org

One of my favorite things to do is design and construct modern and contemporary quilts. This one says in Morse code: God is love.
