Right before Christmas we lost one of our beloved cats to cancer. The cat left behind seems depressed, but seems to take comfort from the lighted tree. I find him here almost every evening. How can we possibly take it down? 🥺

Today during our shift at the local animal shelter, my daughter was a big hit with MINNIE & HENDRIX. I didn't think we were going to get out of there without her pockets full of small dogs! 🥰

Delighted to reveal the cover for my 4/22 release, THE TONTINE CAPER, illustrated by @mattschu.bsky.social! It's a comedy mystery for MG readers set in a crummy inn on a mountain in the Poconos in 1900. Shenanigans ensue when $150k is at stake for the last surviving member of a tontine.
After 3 months of as much medical intervention as we could supply (to no avail), we summoned an in-home euthanasia specialist for our beloved Luna. It was the kindest thing we could do for her. The LAST kind thing. We are SO broken hearted, and the house feels empty lacking one small feline. 💔 💔 💔
