I make deeply glazed, cinematic oil paintings that blend academic oil painting techniques and modern pigments – like interference colors – to capture and emit glowing light and color.
Pleased that this painting was selected for the show, "Human x Machine: Exploring Art in the Age of AI" at the Phipps Center for the Arts in Hudson, WI, on view from September 12th to November 2nd.

This is my first post on Bluesky. I'm curious how many artists are here, so let's connect. I'm interested in art theory/philosophy, and also in politics (who isn't at the moment!? if not perhaps this is the time), specifically leftist politics in this time of peril and change.
