CQA - True Colours Quilt Along 2025
BLOCK 2: COMMUNITY by Eli Hazard

Another fun block to make: turned under edges appliquéd w/ machine blanket stitch.

A fun project to make while listening to a good book. Listening to Remarkably Bright Creatures by Shelly Van Pelt.

MAKI”
“Want sushi for dinner tonight?” my husband asked, breaking my concentration as I was deep in thought, trying to come up with an idea for my SAQA Mini Quilt for the Spotlight Fundraiser.
Funny how inspiration shows up!

CQA - True Colours Quilt Along 2025
BLOCK 1: EMBRACE by Carol McRae

Very easy block to cut & sew together.
I also see some blocks happening for a pieced backing, how fun!

With this block I learned about the 2SLGBTQI+ community, I had no knowledge of it.

CQA, True Colours Quilt Along started today….how exciting!
I will be looking forward to every Wednesday coming up.

Today I selected fabrics from my stash for this project.
I found almost everything I need except for the beige & light orange….a trip to the quilt store… Yeah!!!

River Song -The Map
River Song: Art of the Mississippi Watershed, a SAQA IL/WI project lead by Lindsay O.
My inspiration was the map.
If accepted, it will be part of a traveling show sometimes in mid year 2025.

MY HEART WILL BLOOM AGAIN
I just finished this quilt, a challenge for Canadian Quilters Association. Every year for the past 37 years, TrendTex have organized a challenge to members with their choice of fabrics. This year the theme is “blooming”.

1st post, no more than 300 correct? Let’s try it
