No. He had a heart attack in early April and spent almost a month in hospital. He is not a candidate for either stents or a bypass surgery, sadly, so we are doing the best we can with drugs, careful diet, and as much exercise as he can handle.

Another thing that bugs me (though I have never used a drive-through) is servers commenting on my patronage or ordering decisions. Such as, you were here yesterday, you really like that particular item, why not branch out, etc.

The point is that we don’t elect PMs or premiers except as they run in a district. We elect representatives (MPs, MLAs, MPPs, etc.) and they decide how we are going to be governed, including who is going to be first minister (PM, premier) insofar as party leaders are concerned.
