I saw them post that they would be unable to determine which one it was because they change and grow at such different and rapid ways

The remains of the one that died have been spotted still in the nest on the right side. It was not kicked out. It died some other way.

No sign of it. It’s either been snow covered or is now underneath them. You can’t quite see the bottom of nest. Either way, it is no longer alive sadly 😢

I looked back. There was 1 moment before the fateful night. 1 got briefly stuck on shadows foot when he got up. It rolled back in. Some say shadow accidentally stabbed it with talon. But it may have just been stuck by fluff. I think 1 ended up not underneath Jackie in the night and got snow covered.

I was worried the small baby could not compete with the larger ones. This blizzard did not help that. But I can’t tell which is missing. It almost looks like it is one of the larger ones that is gone. You can’t see bottom of nest so maybe they are now standing on the poor little thing.

I checked it. There was no crime. People are saying shadow accidentally stabbed 1 with talon the day before. I watched that too. 1 does appear to be briefly stuck on his foot when he gets up and then it rolls back into bowl. It’s hard to say.
