This is particularly important given that the Chair of the business meeting is one of his accusers. No way should they have to put up with his presence during what is already going to be a difficult meeting. To be clear they will do an awesome job, but they don't need the added pressure.

Thinking about this further, Glasgow really needs to step up and revoke McCarty's membership. This has to be against their CoC, and if it isn't then that code is meaningless.

And while, given this week's revelations, I have no right to suggest anything related to Worldcon and the Hugos, I strongly feel that Glasgow should revoke his membership. I wouldn't personally feel safe attending if he was there, but I wasn't actually planning to anyway.

I was previously unaware of it and that's on me. Because I have been associated closely with the community and I absolutely should have been. I clearly wasn't listening as closely as I should have been and I genuinely regret that. He should absolutely not be welcome in any fannish space ever again

We need to hear from those that have supported him and turned a blind eye to this shit for years because their silence has been deafening. I was unaware and I'm so sorry for that. But I'm not staying silent anymore. That CoC complaints have not been acted on is inexcusable.

I'm not sure because this is the community I've interacted with most and I didn't know. I've known those involved for years, decades in some cases, so how I didn't know is all on me. But I have to assume that it's every bit as bad in the communities I've paid less attention to.

The Hugo Award site should list them. That's what I used to refresh my memory of which years I was on them. It's tedious as I recall. You look up the winners for each year and the committee for that year is listed at the top
