Writer, actor, cat wrangler, layabout. Lover of history, constant reader, compiler of family trees. I produce novels in the manner of a chicken laying eggs: unpredictably, and with great effort. Expect loud clucking if this should occur.
I was a theatre major and took Expository Writing. Taught me how to tell a story straight and improved my joke telling forever. It also may have taken the Vulcan mind-meld actors practice in becoming a character, blended this talent with straight-up storytelling, and turned me into a novelist. 👩‍🎓

I was impressed that a character was named Honey because of her hair. Not because she was sweet or anything gooshy like that.

Oooh, my favorite. Unrequited love, or two people who love each other but can't be together... so satisfying when these couples find their happy ending! You might try The Nobody by, ahem, me. Or The Fortune Hunter, again by me. ;) Happy hunting!

People are exhausted. Also stunned. Also afraid. This time, he said he was coming after us if we resisted. Many people are still trying to come to grips with that, decide what it means, and what to do about it if it means what we think it means.
