I don't know what you like to do, but look up "quilling". It's not expensive, you don't have to devote big chunks of time to it, and you can make anything: modern art, animals, cards, old-fashioned designs, ornaments, miniatures... take your pick. (I don't do 3-D, so I frame mine.)
