Burlington, Ontario, again - in the west end of the Greater Toronto Area lies this wonderful hard-sand beach. OK yeah it has hydro towers but they're actually kinda beautiful. Toronto itself has great beaches too, but I love Burlington Beach.

Burlington Beach, on Lake Ontario, west of Toronto. It's 30 degrees and we have miles of clean freshwater beaches. We don't need the USA.

Here's my mum's pic of a salt water croc they shot in the Burdekin when she was a girl in 1931. Our biggest lizard is a whopping 20cm long.
