I find the background is competing with the foreground text. In my mind‘s eye, I’m trying to imagine a less saturated background so the text can stand out more. But a richly saturated background might be the “bold” you’re going for.

Sounds like poetry to me. But how important is it to label it one way or another? A poet is definitely a wordsmith. Can’t a wordsmith be a poet?
