As I've said, I just think it should've been discussed beforehand since it was a likely outcome. But I also had no idea who my precinct captain was. Thankfully I had my friends to confer with.

It's not the end of the world. Just frustrating.

Oh sure, they would've been unhappy. But a bunch of supporters rioting because she didn't get the nomination would've looked pretty bad for Shaffer, too.

I was surprised it wasn't discussed beforehand, is all, since these things (nearly) always end before a definitive winner. And Shaffer's team definitely wouldn't have taken the high road if they'd been in Cashman's position.
