I'm in a sharing schmooood!😌 I've been enjoying drawing in my sketchbook lately! I promise you not all my sketchbooks look like this. I have a completely separate one for ideating and ugliness but that one actually feels more precious like a diary.

I moved back in with my parents this month and one of the perks of living here is being right by parts of the Ontario Greenbelt. Just acres of protected farmland and forests a bike ride away. The suburbs get a lot of flack but I'm finding a rekindling love for drawing here again.

Keeping things simple, not overthinking too much. Working with very diluted liquitex carbon black ink and my trusty 11 years old dried up Pentel brush which makes the most beautiful marks 🖤

I may not post as much art anymore but I've been outside drawing and touching grass. Being away from these platforms have been the best thing for me as of late. It's become so easy to enter a negative loop when I'm on here. Reminder I'm still here and despite my complaints I still love to draw 🥹💗

I know I don't share good news on here often but last week I found out that the Cuyahoga County arraignment assignment I worked on with The Marshall Project was selected for AI-AP and won a merit award for The Society of Publication Designers. I had no idea it was submitted so it was a shock! ✨
