That is what woke us up, a tornado went through Mission tonight. Two trees ripped up from roots. Our car is totaled. What we heard was the scariest thing in my life.

...a wilted Devil's Hand Flower [Tree] which meant warning. Googling this flower, I found out it's a Chiranthodendron, or a mācpalxōchitl (palm flower) in Nahuatl. Native to Central America & S. Mexico. Can you guess why it's called what it is based on the picture? ;D 3/n #DianaMoonPlays

Also, wouldn't have pegged you for an Azumanga Daioh fan~ I loved that anime, prolly the only silly slice of life anime I've enjoyed.
Two girls from Azumangah Daioh stopped in the middle of the street. One short with light brown pony tails on either side of her head, and the other slightly taller with darker brown hair. Both wearing pink uniforms. The taller one kicks her shoe off to see where it would land, and in this edited version, instead of a car stealing it, it's the katamari damacy kid rolling a ball away. The two girls looked shocked.

Day 25: Desirable Dice: Gifted ones. Getting dice from your friends/players/GM cause they thought of you or your character (or simply cause it was on your wishlist) is very nice! Someone showed me this dice, I wishlisted it & then got them :3 :3 #RPGaDay2024

Day 15: Great Character Gear: I'm not one for always upgrading equipment, opting for starter gear I usually reflavor from chara creation. So while in most PbtA games gear isn't really essential, I do love how I flavored Remigo's sword in my Monster of the Week game into a macuahuitl! #RPGaDAy2024
My OC, Remigo, with half shaven head, and flowy top of hair, with dramatic eyes, thick eyebrows and a statement of a nose. Facing to the right but looking at you seductively. Wears a green undershirt with a low u neck, and black leather jacket. A hint of a vine tattoo creeps out form his right shoulder along the base of his neck and towards his back. Orange-y brown skin (I don't know how to describe it), and a giant macuahitl on his back, with jade inlay design and obsidian jagged "teeth". Think of a cricket bat but like double or triple its width, and shards of obsidian on the side.

Day 13: Evocative Environments: First that came to mind (even though I hadn't had a chance to play, just read through) would be Spectres of Brocken by @ehronlime.bsky.social . The base World Tendencies are so good. The supplement? Even more to submerse yourself in! #RPGaDay2024

Day 6: RPG that is so easy to US: I'll have to say 18XX Outlaw (+1 to their whole 18XX series) by Deep Light Games! Very evocative character creation and quick mission/adventure set up. Love the luck roll. [18XX is based on 24XX but I haven't played the original.]

(pretend I didn't skip) Day 5: RPG w Great Writing: Again, so many! But the 1st that came to mind was Cartel by Mark Diaz Truman. It's written so in character & even though I'm not Mexican, it just felt so natural to read, like being part of the cultura, along w it being well researched. #RPGaDay

If killed or self-destructs(burnout), Death has sights on party until pacified in future. Teco can be talked down, with empathy & generosity. After, if asked, will stay w/ party for 6 days before returning to the night sky. Corrupted versions cannot be pacified.

My poor drawing of the monster I created, using prismacolor red outlines, sakura black ink, and a drafting red colored pencil, and random white pocca. Roundish bird, no legs, very fuzzy looking with small wings at its side, all red. The face is a Mask possibly of a barnyard owl skull with a black tipped beak. The eye sockets are hollow/black with a white glowy/ethereal "iris". The bird is looking off to the side a bit, in a 3/4's view.

Day 3: Most often Played: For those that know me, that's obviously Good Society by @storybrewers.bsky.social, haha! Been playing 3-4 campaigns of it a year, and even backed it to get my face on a card for their connections deck~ So many lovely hacks that keep it fresh & exciting!
