Watching the interview yesterday I felt so sorry for Harry as he sounded devastated and so deflated. I thought he was on the verge of tears the whole time. How he managed to keep composed i have no idea. What little respect I had for our royal family is now gone.

I agree that all the royals should pay for their own security. But some would say that they are performing duties on behalf of the UK so us taxpayers should foot the bill. As you say, they are rich enough.

I think there are more Brits in UK who support H&M but have no desire to cope with the toxicity of comments on SM so say nothing. Doesn’t mean that we are in the minority.

He has asked to be able to do that but has been refused. The level of security he’s been given in the UK does not allow him and his own security team the level of intelligence/degree of threats/firearm safety that goes with the level of threat.

Your reply using “they” was ambiguous, it could’ve referred to Harry n Meghan or to the other royals. I’ve seen that same criticism used against the Sussexes so it was understandable for me to read your comment a certain way. Also, there are lots of anti-M accounts that use her photo as a profile.
