I thought this was a funny take on personal growth. Often we're doing the work, just to find that we're another version of our same-old self. Maybe we're getting closer to something innate--maybe we're just iterating.

I got a kick out of this. Even being relatively mindful of what comes into the house, kid's toys can feel like this. Pray your feet don't hit any Legos as you cross the tidal sea of plastic to check the burning dinner on the stove.
