We got our shelter pet in November right before the election and I'm sooooo glad we did. She is the best pup I've ever had....so sweet and affectionate. Pitbulls are great dogs! She even plays board games. 😉

This is Winnie. She's a 4 YO (est.) pitbull we adopted from the Humane Society at the beginning of Nov. She is doing so well and we all adore her! We found out today that she has a mast cell tumor on her belly. She'll be having surgery before Christmas and we're just really hoping she'll be okay. 🙏🏻

This is the recipe. I usually half it so I used 1/2 tsp peppermint, but if you make the full batch you'd probably want 1 tsp peppermint.

We don't have any elves on shelves here (no shade, just not something I could keep up with). But I do love to put out a new Christmas book each day in Dec. Some people wrap theirs, but I prefer to use a reusable bag so that I can just slip the book in each day. I made mine from a Christmas placemat.
