and yes, I know touge and wangan are different scenes and styles, but I'm more talking about being a game made by the same company and decently similar handling, TXR 2025 just feels like what a PS2 game (positive) would be with today's polish that games can achieve.

I am really hopeful for the development of this game as it aalready feels like a great product that is almost finished (still crazy that it feels THAT good being on EA), Genki have really 1 uped themselves with this game, replaying TXRD2 just makes me want to play more TXR 2025

I love the perk system a LOT, it makes it so defeating every opponent is actually desirable and not just a thing for 100%, having perks unlock in stages is also very clever as a progress limiter, it pairs really well with how money is handled in this game, with the wallet system being a thing

BUUUUUT... the game feels very unbalanced right now, enemy levels don't feel like they represent much when you have lvl 13 rivals that get whooped by a barely modded S14 and others that cleanly beat you in seconds while you're driving a max tuned RX8 (melancholic angel is the worst offender)

Still wouldn't wanna be with Rowling lmao
