This is weirdly comforting in light of Key's hiatus:
How do you measure success for yourself? As you can see, I don’t chase results. Results aren’t important. I don’t care about them. If it’s small or big, it doesn’t matter. If I can have a show, then it’s OK, right? If you compare everything… You cannot live like that. And I don’t want to. I always say that if I lose everything tomorrow, it’s OK. I’ve been there. Nothing’s going to change. I have family to go back to, and I enjoyed [my career] well. I think that’s what people can say makes a successful life, even without money or fame. Is there something else you want to be asked? I always tell myself not to dream like a teenager. You don’t have to be the first, the highest, the greatest. If you enjoy your life, it’s fine. So I guess the question would be, “How do you want to live the rest of your life?” I’ll just give what I can. If, someday, I can’t do this anymore, I’ll just quit. The 21 July 2025 9 Chickweed Lane strip, the first panel of which depicts Thorax, a balding, heavyset man in opaque glasses leaning on a typewriter with a piece of paper threaded in. The title of the paper, shown in the upper right corner of the panel is "How to Lie." The second panel, which is all text, is subtitled "How to lie generally," and goes on to read: "'My name is Bob.' Bob's name is Walter, which is a name protected by the Supreme Court. Therefore, even if it is not factually true, it is protected because everybody knows that Walter is an okay name. Nevertheless, it is also a lie. Catheter, on the other hand, is a prohibited name. Anybody who speaks the name Catheter is lying - even if they are telling the truth."

The 9 Chickweed Lane strip for 10 July 2025, featuring the characters Lolly and Alistair. The dialogue is the usual pretentious twaddle, this time about Lolly's entrails expressing their own opinion about Alistair, which is apparently separate from Lolly's own (not a fart joke). The *art*, meanwhile, consists of three panels of Lolly and Alistair walking side by side with Lolly to Alistair's left, alternately having her right hand around his left arm or hugging his back. The fourth panel has Lolly now on Alistair's right, with him carrying her on his right hip. Somehow. Her dangling feet are at the level of his knees. It's slightly alarming.
