Yeah that's what it really is. It's the fact that low info voters feel dissatisfied with establishment policies and looked for change or someone who could seem to bring it. They found that in Trump and thus rallied behind him.

Yes actually, that's exactly what to analyze. Neoliberalism and how we got here socioeconomically, that's the cause of desperation that lead to people turning to Trump and ultraconservative populists like him.

Yeah and neither of those are allowed as Israel isn't in the North Atlantic really but, I digress. Even so that won't stop Israel from committing genocide as we have seen with other NATO members (Turkey)

Yeah it's a bit of both ngl, but even if we were to assume that was the main reason it still is in lieu of the millions dissatisfied with neoliberalism that will turn to candidates like trump (ie he's the symptom, not the core issue and people will turn to populists like him even if he doesn't try

That kind of thinking gets us no where. What matters is that we analyze why we lost and how to actually overcome that.

Popularity contest that got us here. That's the point. Populism will almost always triumph against establishment candidates when theres a dissatisfied class of people, which there is. In our case that populism took the form of Trump and there isn't a neoliberal candidate who can match it electorally

In that world neoliberal candidates cannot win, and we are living in that world. Harris is one of them. Clinton was as well, the only reason she had the success she did compared to now is because she rode off the popularity of the incumbent establishment to act as a more expert, experienced force.
