I would like for them to have given users choice for disputed locations (maybe all locations)?

What shows up for me:

My brain cells agree it’s a FPTP problem, but I hate to admit that part of it is humans wanting to belong to sects and ideologies (I can’t say I’m personally immune either). I’ll just give my usual summary: UGH.

When somebody says they really care about X, do they care enough to unbundle it or fight against bundle culture, or even better, do they care enough to try to influence the other side? Our political system translates “I care about X” to “let’s add X to the bundle.”

…when you make the decision to prioritize gun stuff along with healthcare, you massively handicap your healthcare ambitions because you alienate a big demographic that you need. So can you really say healthcare is a big priority?…

I’ve been thinking about this. It’s true that the buttons we have available don’t include “fix healthcare”…but somebody somewhere is in charge of bundling, right? Let’s just randomly pick healthcare and guns (and pretend the left could figure out healthcare)…

I feel like focusing on the evil dude or the evil industry is counterproductive razzle dazzle stuff. Our citizens continuously elect governments that are content with a gnarly healthcare incentive structure, that’s the story.

Not trying to troll, but for a single victim killed at close range, is this really a gun policy debate? Couldn’t the guy have cut him in half with a sword?
