So I had to go to the hospital this week and turns out I was pretty close to a heart attack so I got a stent put in. Being in the hospital for 5 days, missing work means I’m gonna be short 2-300 bucks for rent this month

Fuck. Don't meet your heroes I guess. Neil Gaiman being outed as a creep (at best, at worst it's a LOT worse) is so disheartening. I've been a proud fan for years, met him several times, even had dinner with him, but...I am done. Sandman still means the world to me but he can get fucked.

this show continues to have incredible casting. Wanda looks perfect, as does Nuala. Two of my favorite characters are finally real. I just hope we see A Game of You AND Brief Lives.

I started reading The Sandman when I was 12. They were on comic number 9 or 10 at the time. I grew up to be a writer, goth, game developer, and professor. Correlation or causation - who knows? I'm sure they and other great stories nudged me along a good path.
