In print and online but a first person from me in The Guardian on learning to trust strangers (and also travel)

A moment that changed me: An accident left me terrified of risk. Then I joined a stranger on a motorbike adventure
We rode through the dark, through winding mountain roads to reach scenic nooks I otherwise would never have seen. From then, I had the confidence to make friends and travel more

Finally found some time to write about how nature seeps into everything. I guess you just have to tell the universe about the path you are on sometimes.

I put a note out saying that I needed more paid work and fewer offers to work for free. And I still got messages asking me to work for free for exposure.

Finland's the happiest country in the world. Again. It's not that surprising that it's now hitting the upcoming destination lists for travellers. I went not so long ago and wrote about how my mood was lifted for @theipaper.com

There’s an Urdu name for a “Jack of all trades” that translates to “every talent Lord.” A Korean version is “eight direction beauty.” But my favourite name for someone who tries their hand at lots of different things is the Lithuanian Barbė devyndarbė. It means “Barbie nine jobs”

Thinking a lot about life shifts and taking ownership of stories. A few jottings. But the pandemic was a life-shifter. I interviewed so many people whose loved ones died and those legacies, those conversations have never left me.

GLENN: Why don't you wear a suit? You're at the highest level in this country's office & you refuse to wear a suit. A lot of Americans have problems with you not respecting the office.

ZELENSKYY: I will wear a costume after this war will finish. Maybe something like yours. Maybe something better.

Kept a lot of my spoken word secret for a while as I used to be in spaces where the poetry I was surrounded by filled conventional rules and I never felt quite good enough. But now am sharing in spaces where people have diverse histories and the reception has been so positive.
