These are the smallest 'street cats' I have found, I obviously offered them nibbles/cat stick, but I wished I could do more. In the few minutes I was there, I wasn't sure if there was an 'parent' nearby. Fortunately the weather was still over 24C.

The wild pigs in Marmaris are like night patrols. In the middle of the night, when the streets are quiet, they walk around finding anything tasty. I offered them apples, but they stole the cat food as well!

I found some on my previous visit, they weren’t aggressive, especially when they realised I had apples for them. There was about 12 cats at this place, but they couldn’t defend their nibbles.. Sometimes there are other visitors! This cockerel was noisy, but followed the female and the recent hatchlings into the shadows, where they disappeared with their camouflage.

I agree with Robin Williams, that all politicians should wear badges showing their sponsors, then voters will know who they represent. It certainly hasn't been voters, for decades!
Has anyone compiled a league table showing how the sponsors have bought power?
Names on the 'rich list' are clues.

My first feline house manager, when I got my own home. She lived to 18 and always stopped eating when she had enough. Very intelligent and vocal. I still miss her a lot. #siamese I suggested the name "Sky" because when she was little, her ears resembled satellite dishes. She became part of our family.

Last year I had so many questions about EVs, and couldn't find answers. I had an idea to buy a 3 year old small van, added what I would need to stay in the van at a campsite, as overnight alternative to a tent or caravan.

Can someone please explain the system that charges the 12V battery in an EV?
I bought a Renault Kangoo EV early last year, when it was 3 years old. Now I discovered that because traction batteries have improved so fast, the value of an EV with under 100 miles range and slow charging is awful.

This is the first Robin I have seen this month. It was finding the mealworms that the mouse and hedgehog had left.

I created a "cafe" for the hedgehogs that come into my garden, and watched them by cctv camera recordings.
I thought the 'entrance' was too small for a cat, but was proved wrong..
This is a photo off the screen, when the latest cat was determined to get at the dish which had some dog food.

Animal protection - a concept
When I hear of any case of animal cruelty, I think about this:
All animals who could broadly be classified as pets, should be 'chipped' and registered with an appropriate animal protection organisation. Those should be financed to issue an approval certificate ..

My neighbour hasn't confirmed it, but I think Max has joined his sister Ruby OTRB 🌈
I'm glad he shared some time with me.
He was purring when he last visited me, a few days ago.

I haven't had a feline house manager for some years, so I'm not familiar with cat medical conditions or symptoms.
My furrend Max has been telling me he's hungry, for weeks.
He has started to take naps on my legs.
However, he has also started to lose control of his bladder.
He's already 9.
