Working up sketches for a decal mascot for a boost glider named the Odd Duck. It's called that because it's not like my other A3-A10 sized gliders that I've designed. This is also a bit of a nostalgic throwback to my Timber Ridge magazine days. Too bad that didn't work out.

The finished version of the "Fugly Bugly" and the decal set for the Gammie. It's probably the ugliest thing that I ever drew. And it's so ludicrously ugly that I'm cracking myself up.

La Vista hobby shop no longer carries balsa but they also now don't have A10-3t engines. I wish that John Carroll hadn't gone away and is never coming back. He was a practical enough man to follow trends as they got more weeaboo toyetic, but I don't think that he would have let other things suffer.

1/2 I bought a blank stainless school type lunchbox. I'm going to work up some decals during the stir crazy winter to make up an InterStellar OverDrive lunchbox just to see what it would look like. Sort of a daydream out loud over that commercial break that I never could quite catch.

I was driving up I-29 having an imaginary conversation with Grandpa Skow and came up with this bit of mock philosophy. Then there was me tripping over these forgotten archeological artifacts from a previous life with the case so yellowed with age that it's scary.

I'm back working on this trying to finish up the inks. I redid the hair and arms tonight. Is there anything anybody would fix before I start coloring it?

I was thinking about an old Mac program from the monochrome toaster days called "GliderDesign". It could let you create what it calls high lift gliders that could lift twice their own weight. I just weighed the Tabbico boost glider. It's 27grams bare and 54grams with two Astro-Cams screwed to it. :3
