I enjoyed this piece. Thanks! If I could ask for a small reframe: perhaps we stop using the term Enemies. These people, as with most of us, are Critics. I think that's an important distinction. And it emphasizes the Trump admin actions as that much more insane, thin-skinned, whiny and un-American.
