Testing routes of administration and engraftment for cell therapy on the OrganOx normothermic liver perfusion platform today.

This wouldn't be possible without those who choose to donate their organs for transplantation and research. Thanks.

Surprised to find I did have one, it's about 10 years old, looks like Cape Cod from the badges on the sign.

Reflecting on a couple of days at Edinburgh's CRM retreat.

A delightful event celebrating achievements, chatting science, making friends and building community. These occasions are important for creating outstanding research environments.

... and then I cruised the canals home. 👍🚴

Once upon a time it was suggested that brewing might be a career for me Nowadays its a hobbie that mixes science and art

Pilsner and Vienna Malt, classic Hallertauer Mittelfrüh hop and the benefit of a lengthy conditioning period

I brewed this Kölsch-esque lager in February, there's not much left

Sad news that Prof. Sir Ian Wilmut has passed away.

The leader of the group that cloned Dolly the Sheep in 1996 which had a transformative impact on science.

Ian’s vision was to bring stem cell science to the clinic which, ultimately, he delivered.
