Looks like a cool book but why did the news article lead with whale song if the book is called sing like a fish? Many more fish in the sea than cetaceans (and yes my biases are showing).
All kinds of sounds are happening in the oceans.

There are whale songs or echolocation. Cephalopods can make and hear sounds, too, even without ears, and then there’s human-made noise, like the giant shipping containers that crisscross the globe.
