Yeah, I suppose it's a more laid-back version of James Bond in a way.
He gets to sit around a bit more and doesn't have to punish his body as much, but he's still a classy, suave dude going after bad guys.

And Daniel Craig thought he got out of playing Bond forever.
Little did he know he'd be doing Knives Out into his 90's. 😁

What's your opinion about that with the first Die Hard movie?

Many say it's a Christmas movie, but IMO it's a movie that just happens to play *during* Christmans (in-universe).

It doesn't have any impact on the story though and could've played during *any* holiday.

Isn't this kind of what they tried to depict in the movie Tenet?

Not once you found the infinitest of infinities!
You'll find that no mind or machine will be able to add one more. You'll always get the same number, not matter what you try.
And every time you try, you'll feel a ghostly slap on your face.
That's the slap of flabberghastion, reality saying no.

Hmm, if Aleph-Zero is the smallest infinite cardinal, then let's just say the infinitest of infinities is Tav++. 😁

Any time you choose a specific number to represent it and find that there is an even higher one, you were simply mistaken.

Once you can't find a higher one, you've discovered Tav++.

But what about the "infinitest of infinities"?
Wouldn't anything purportedly more infinite than that be exactly the "infinitest of infinities" itself?

Regarding question 4:
Wouldn't lying down be more opposite than sit? 🤔

After all, lifeless objects don't sit down when they're not erect, they're simply lying down when they've fallen over.
I'd say sitting is in-between standing up and lying down.

Is this for a new story? 😮

No. Some version of punk perhaps, but not cyber.

I've heard plenty of times about a leisurely stroll.
But taking a leisurely seat? That's a new one. 😆

Thx, that's good to know. Much appreciated! 🍻

Despite being roughly the same size, this one has 64 more pages than the one from Ballantine Books.

Do you know if there are any content differences between the two? A forward in one, that isn't in the other? illustrations, etc.?

God: "How the fudge do they keep finding these wall glitches?"
Angel: "We're not sure sir, and unfortunately some keep falling into Hell. We tried to call Lucifer to send them back, but..."
God: "But what? Out with it!"
Angel: "He's not picking up sir."
God: *sigh*... "Alright, get my hiking shoes."

That doesn't satisfy my curiosity of course, but I can understand it from a PR perspective.
And hey, we all make mistakes, no biggie. Even if people were mad at you I wouldn't beat myself up about it.
As long as we regret mistakes and try to do better, there's no reason to be mad.
Cheers! 🍻

Just out of curiosity:
Which influencer was it, and why was it bad to promote them?
July 3, 2025 at 1:42 PM
Because they're a figment of human imagination.
And humans are notoriously bad at predicting the future.
We wanted faster horses, but we got cars. We wanted flying cars, but we got the Internet.
What's next? We think it's gonna be AI overtaking us, but it's probably gonna be something else.

Yeah, I hear ya. Though I'd say that boredom is when interest and energy don't align. And in that case, the time and effort to engage in the stuff are not worth it.
June 12, 2025 at 10:44 AM
Knowing what goal you want to achieve and knowing *how* to achieve it are two different things.

The resulting code change might look small, but the time and effort to figure out the exact change might've been much higher than just *explaining* what goal one wants to achieve.

I think if you're older you'll start wondering if you get to still see certain things.
So it's probably a question that is more probable to pop up in your mind the older you get. 😁
