It's kinda crazy to be working on four different projects at once and I can totally relate! It's like having children and dogs and a boss all needing attention at the same time.

Why? Is this also in the name of efficiency? Somebody really doesn't understand how art works...

Not sure if this is a fit but have you tried Black Lawrence Press? Seems their selection is pretty bold and wide ranging.

The storytelling is so wonderful. A good one that I always go back to.

What the Living Do by Marie Howe. Anything by Yusef Komanyakaa or Jane Hirshfield. I Do Everything I’m Told by Megan Fernandes. Those are favs of mine.

Hey Gayle! I felt like I was reading a post I might have written. I got one request for a full on my first novel- literary crime fiction. Just about to start revising the second. And I’m working on a chapbook of poetry. And cheers to messy characters!

We gotta make this stuff work for us, right?
