It always feels good when a draft day goes better than expected, Especially when it's a scenes with one of my favorite little old ladies. (She would absolutely yell at me for this and ask who I'm calling old for sure).
Then we need to repel down the walls of the cliff or sneak up through the ravine. I saw some, shall we say, dubious paths that could work.” Didia opened her bag pulling out thin leather gloves. Fiona sighed, “I agree. I think it’s the only unexpected way.” “Could we use orinthopter’s at all?” Gaili said. “Not if we don’t want to careen into the mountain. The space is too narrow and ‘thopers too unprecise.” Fiona said. Flying over mountains and sightseeing were all good fun in Rise but to try and go through. She shuddered to think of the types of accidents that could happen. “Don’t worry dears.” Didia pulled on [equipment] and handed them [equipment]. “This isn’t my first ravine. Nor my second mountain. Come on.” She pushed open the door striding. With more quiet wonder than actual silence, Fiona and Gaili followed quickly after Didia.

This seems fun! From my new WIP where magic is based on the language of flowers. #WIPSnips

The magic of the flower clung to the pink petal infused with her intent, like the soft clasp of an encouraging hand. She always loved the way warmth spread through her fingertips when the arcana took hold. With a flourish she pushed it toward his face underneath his nose taking care to keep her hand cupped towards him. A misguided waft in the direction of a sibling would be a waste of the flower.
