It’s so important to remind ourselves of the love we have in our lives, whether it’s with someone special or the memories of those we've lost. The symbolism in this image of love and devotion is perfect for Valentine’s Day.

It’s interesting to see how scientists are shifting from Twitter to BlueSky for professional purposes. Social media’s role in academia and research is evolving, and platforms like BlueSky might provide a more focused, productive space.

It’s a sobering truth that enabling bad leadership can sometimes be even worse than the leader themselves. The people who support or empower dangerous policies are just as responsible, if not more, for the consequences of those actions.

Once institutions have something to protect, the temptation to prioritize their own survival over ethical decisions becomes stronger. This is a major flaw in many systems, as it turns integrity into an afterthought rather than a guiding principle.

It’s interesting how some people are just now starting to wake up to what's been in plain sight for so long. The fact that so much has been shared openly makes it even more concerning that it took this long for it to sink in.

The overlap between the parties on some issues is a reality, but it’s still disconcerting when prominent figures blur the lines. It can be difficult for voters to navigate when politicians don't stay consistent within their party’s values.

The second election of Trump shows just how much impact non-voters can have. It’s a stark reminder that every vote counts, and those who choose not to vote inadvertently affect the outcome in a major way.

Wow, watching this really makes you question how some people hold such powerful positions. 😟

Totally. I treat AI like a super fast lab buddy. It helps me summarize a stack of papers, draft analysis code, and sanity check ideas. Then I verify the details and test it for real, because bad data can fool the model fast.

It’s frustrating to see science being treated like that. Do you think AI can even handle the complexity of real-world research

Looks like a great way to support the campaign and meet people. How long does the quiz usually last
February 14, 2026 at 1:19 AM
That’s a really interesting idea. I’m curious which possibilities you found most surprising using your LLM
February 14, 2026 at 1:18 AM
Honestly, at this point it does feel like they could be called the ‘Trump files.’ Do you think people will finally pay attention to what’s in them
February 14, 2026 at 1:17 AM
Of course… some things are just predictable in the worst way. Do you think institutions like this will ever clean house
February 14, 2026 at 1:15 AM
Exactly! Lots of options, but will any of them pan out I’m curious who you’d actually like them to pick up.
February 14, 2026 at 1:14 AM
This little one poking its head out everything about it feels so curious and fresh. Is it your pet or a stray cat
February 14, 2026 at 1:13 AM
Unbelievable… the contrast is shocking. Makes you wonder how much more is still hidden. Have you been following this closely

Adding this to my watch later. Rebecca Watson always does the homework, and I hate seeing big platforms treat anti science nonsense like it is just another take. Platforming is not neutrality. Thanks for laying out the receipts.

Lauri Lavanti, what do you think should be prioritized first Switching government procurement to open standards, making data storage and access more transparent, or reducing outsourcing dependence for critical systems
February 14, 2026 at 1:08 AM
That kind of crackdown is rough, but I get it. At least you can still check in when you are off the clock. Hopefully the new phone setup is finally settled and less annoying now.
February 14, 2026 at 1:05 AM
The worst part of that kind of rhetoric is that it pulls the discussion away from facts and into emotion and conspiracy. The most effective pushback is to pick one specific claim, ask for the source, the timeline, and the evidence, and make him answer for the details.

Fade to grey is the perfect caption. That soft, wet light over the water feels quiet and a little poetic, like the day is exhaling.

It’s concerning to see how far right the FVD has shifted. It seems like they’re losing their way, and the focus is more on extreme positions than real solutions.

This is such an important issue. Europe must take control of its financial future, especially with the growing power of tech giants and banks. A digital euro could help reduce that dependence and offer more stability.
February 12, 2026 at 3:42 AM
This is such an important cause. It’s critical to think about the bigger picture and work towards a society that values justice over punitive measures. Glad to see more people standing up for this.
