The correct response would be to establish a 20-kilometer no fly zone over Ukraine along the Polish border - something that should've been done a long time ago.
But something tells me that it won't happen. Instead we'll see "strong condemnation" and "concerns". So drones will keep flying.

I wish a strict deadline was made for Russia as well - e.g., unconditional ceasefire in 48 hours. It would've put more pressure on Russia and made it harder for Putin to make up a plausible excuse, increasing chances for an unfavorable move for Russia.

Europe must assume the leading role in this war. Rutte understandably doesn't like that idea, and would like the US to not bail out. Again and again politicians cling to wishful thinking, instead of accepting the harsh reality - Europe is now on its own, the US isn't going to protect anyone.
