Not sure I can agree. While you can say the bands in the first Lollapalooza (1991) were technically 80’s bands, their sound wasn’t. And the 1992 lineup were “90’s sound” legends (Pearl Jam, RHCP, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, and throw in Cypress Hill). Definitely not “80’s hangover” that year.
