Update on the corn they are still growing. Forming the tassel I think it’s what it’s called. But still has ways to go before I can begin to manually pollinate for some sweat corn. #containergardening

Decided to grow sweet corn probably late for the season but will try anyway. I am trying to grow them in containers I don’t have a plot of land to grow so containers are the next best thing. Growing tall. #containergardening

June update. Tomatoes, strawberries, cilantro, and marigolds are growing well. Not bad for first try. Added straw mulch for the summer heat. Hope I get blooms so I can see the fruits of my labor. #Gardening #containergardening

5 out of 10 tulips sprouts have come out the weather has been nice. Hopefully I can see the other five sprout.

I think I’ll take my chances the following week looks good to plant outside. The weather is not as bad but I’ll move them inside in need be.

Finally first tulip sprout I was beginning to worry. Also I see the crack in the pot I will not leave terracotta pots out side again for the winter. Lesson learn #first_time_gardening

Plant update the Marigold is doing well. It has sprouted many true leaves. Growing nicely. Still a little too cold for me to leave it outside.

I also started another round of cilantro. So I can hopefully have it ready for march or April. This is a bigger pot and I added the wooden trellis ahead just in case they do grow leggy again .

Going into the new Year the Cilantro has showed its true leaves despite its legginess. Hoping for a good growth and harvest. For the new Year

Cilantro is growing long I think the seedlings are becoming leggy. Had to steak and support. Won’t give up on this batch will see how they do in a week or so
