Hey nice work! I love the gelli plate with acrylics, they're really rewarding to experiment with. If you tape down one side of your paper and keep the gelli plate in the same place, you can do lots of layers which is very fun imo

Braithwaite's pyramid of assumptions is relevant here, I think. Some folks might have an emotional/instinctual resistance to recognizing that "elites" are not virtuous citizens, even though it's fairly obvious at this point

Those illustrations have lived in my head since I was a child, especially the donut machine and the bank robbers story. I didn't even know about make way for ducklings until I was an adult, but McCloskey's pencils are sublime

Did you see Monty Don's Master Crafts on the BBC? Only six episodes, and not really a competition show, more just about the revival of old craft in the UK. I remember there was a green woodworking one, and also one on thatching roofs? Very good historical craft content
