In case it was not clear. #Java is mainstream. It make it to Pasapalabra:

"Starting with a J, an internet-oriented programming language that allows you to create programs that run on any computer...’.

It took milliseconds for the contestant to answer: #Java

I’ve received this on a job offer. +3 years of experience working with Java 21.

Keeping in mind that #Java21 was released in September 2023, I guess this company is looking for not only a developer but also a time traveler coming at least from late 2026 or 2027

Ok, I couldn't resist the temptation: I also asked ChatGPT to draw a picture of how it may think my life looks like based on what information it has about me...

I just left the studio after recording an episode dedicated to Java for the Codeadores (@programandoOH@x.com) podcast. I enjoyed talking about #Java and its ecosystem with Manuel Rubio (@MRonErlang@x.com).

The episode will be published on Tuesday afternoon, November 19.

I still have the first Visual IDE I used for Java. It was long before Visual Cafe, this is the end-of-degree project from my friend and classmate
@indytw

When JDK 1.2.2 was the “latest Java”
It’s been a while but it was when I first got in contact with Java.

It's time for a change of cover, and a change of stage. It's time to say goodbye to the stickers I had and start filling the new case with the stickers of this new stage.

Which ones do you think will be the first ones in this new case?

And what about you? What are your favorite stickers?
