The hypothetical I am working with is:

Why would anyone maintain hard rules from the 1990s in 2060, especially after the requirements have drifted several times, and the rules were changed in 2026?

I almost wonder if "planned obsolescence" should be part of the conversation more often.

Do share if you find great results in the special-syntax domains. (math, chemical formulas, music notation, etc)

A lot of knowledge is locked inside field-specific notations.
