I’m relieved that using an LLM for grunt work doesn’t automatically force us to sacrifice caring about the climate. However, the notion of valuing people based on their carbon output feels dystopian ( like something out of Black Mirror).

For me it wasn’t so simple. It was a relentless grind by the machine. The disparity between amazing folk like Hamid Vs “lifers” who didn’t care. It was the realisation that none of my projects were making REAL impact. Leadership was directionless & would never change…
