We don't do rolls all that often, but I wanted to try the multipurpose rolls from COLOR TASTE TEXTURE, so I made a batch yesterday.

Figured most of 'em would be for lunches. Instead, we had some for breakfast this morning and decided to make hamburgers for dinner. Yum!
Eight round, flattish bread rolls on a wire cooling rack. The tops are golden brown and slightly shiny. Some of them have rough patches on the sides where they stuck together while baking. A soft bread roll on a plate, cut in half and set out to show the interior texture.

Tried out my new silicone bread pan liners on a double batch of sandwich bread from COLOR TASTE TEXTURE.

Looks like I missed a bubble when rolling it out, but aside from that it came out pretty well and tastes delicious.

Made garlic-rosemary focaccia from COLOR TASTE TEXTURE to go with lunch today. Delicious!

First attempt at sourdough bread, trying one of my new silicone loaf pan liners from Christmas.

This is based on a recipe from King Arthur Baking. It came out tasty, with a fairly mild flavor, and a crisp crust.

We ended up baking them in 2 batches, as they wouldn't all fit on our baking sheet - the first batch turned out to be a little over-crowded anyway.

-even when it requires a highly indirect route. Star charts almost always include established warp paths. Jherdakil charts are the most extensive, but local charts are more likely to include less heavily traveled routes - still much better than open space.

Finally got around to finishing a new profile pic. This character is Deshi Erina Kan-Lesir, a goblin from Kerwahn (Project 1-3-1). She lives near a small town in the low mountains of eastern Maer Dyleth, on the continent Arumach, near the edge of Devar's zone of control.
