Saw some beautiful egrets while riding on the Bay Trail today
Egrets gathering around a small pond near the Bay Trail. One egret is larger with a yellow bill, and there are five smaller ones with black bills nearby. One of the egrets looks like a young one still getting their adult feathers.

Department of Defense training on Canadian invasion plans:

Just an amazing sunset at Ocean Beach today
The sunset at Ocean Beach in San Francisco. The beach takes up roughly the bottom third of the photo, which looks gray and is disturbed by many little mounds and footprints. In the middle, the waves are swelling, with a handful of people visible between the sand and sky. The top two thirds of the photo is the sky, with a gradient fading from light blue, to yellow, and then a deep orange just on the horizon. Clouds cover half of the sky in large, dark bunches, lit from underneath with the deep orange of the setting sun.

The modern obsession with denim has gone too far

The NHL is broadcasting the finals with an ASL stream on ESPN+, and it looks super interesting. The audio is there without the normal commentators, and they have two ASL commentators on screen at all times.
