Not to be grumpy but is that in inflation adjusted dollars?
Don’t get me wrong, DOGE didn’t reduce federal expenditures, but if that is nominal dollars, it seems misleading on the (very fine) margin

I was -3 at the time but I believe that if we could subtract the Vietnam war from US history we would look on JFK’s assassination differently. I will note that this belief of mine may be influenced by the X-Files
