This Autumn / Winter all I’m getting from #Nocmig is Redwing & Song Thrush. Very little else & extremely quiet compared to previous years. Anyone else struggling this year?

According to the Merlin app, there were some goods birds over the Oakdale garden this morning. Unsurprisingly, I didn’t manage to get on to any of them!!

Highlight of wander around Upper Allen Valley was Ring Ouzel at Knowlton. Plenty of raptors 9 Red Kite settling together,2 Sprawk, Kestrel, and 5 Buzzards, incl this distant pale morph stunner. @dorsetbirdclub.bsky.social

I finally signed up to Bluesky as I was led to believe that it was less political than X. I followed 48 birders & one of the first posts I see is an anti-Trump video. I don’t care about peoples politics & don’t expect them to care about mine. I just want to see bird posts! Please.
