I'm watching Fleabag at the moment and couldn't help but use Phoebe Waller-Bridge as the face and voice of Shard during my reading, she would absolutely nail the arrogance, wit and sarcasm of a cinematic Shard (Amazon, make it happen. Also, Rosamund Pike as Dolos.)

I've already fancasted some of the great supporting characters in my headcanon! The series is very beginner friendly, I only had to look up some t'au words. Bravo to Rob Young for taking me and many others on Darya's journey, can't wait to check out the new Leontus book, and whatever comes next!

The battles and skirmishes are visual and visceral, every detail and every movement is painted beautifully in my mind, and so cinematic that I constantly couldn't help but think a Darya Nevic miniseries would be a perfect adaptation for GW & Amazon, with wide appeal for fans and newcomers

Every victory is hard fought for and earned through her experience, and always leave her scarred in some way, physically or mentally. RY does a fantastic job of communicating the exhaustion and fatigue as her missions drag on for days, never quite getting the rest or sleep she needs and deserves

After reading 'Transplants' in 'Galaxy of Horrors' I was hooked on Darya Nevic's journey, which continues in 'Memories of Broken Glass' and culminates in 'Longshot'. Darya is a highly trained and disciplined sniper with unbreakable determination and willpower, but none of her wins are gifted to her
