Love talking college football; trying to find the edge for C2C fantasy leagues
"It is no big deal if running backs do nothing as true freshmen."

"It only matters on their final year of college."

"NFL only cares about their final year."

🤔👀📊📉 then why the data say they need to be passing Year 1 Zero Metrics????

As the regular season winds down, here’s the current outlook of freshmen RBs and where they lie for the YR1 zero metrics. Decided to sort this out by how they each graded in my HS RB model before they started college ball this fall.

Fantasy championship week in C2C! Let’s get it while everyone else worries about the other things

And that leaves me with Turner & Parker. Neither guy was rated well for HS. Parker is probably closer to group above but also shows not to overhype their profiles like what happened with an Iowa State RB last offseason.

Now with Hardy and Isaac Brown, this shows their high year 1 production has some historical relevance as we see other guys in their groupings who were also great CFF producers. Not sure the true NFL futures, but 2-3 years of strong college production will be nice.

Payne falls into an interesting position as he has historical players with upside for NFL. However, Payne looks like his backfield may be muddied next year as of today so i would monitor for clarity.

Dickey actually was in one tier higher than the previous group, but the results are similar. Things may line up nicely for the Texas Tech RB.

Frazier and Bothwell both were part of the same HS tier. The higher YR1 scoring groups show promise for college production with some showing NFL traits.

Decided to do some historical outlooks on the current college football FR RBs who have already gone 5/5 on the YR1 Zero RB metric.

Starting off, Tatum & Durham fall into very high upside territory even when factoring in their HS model scores.

Meanwhile, these are the main freshmen RBs who have yet to crack the YR1 zero that I’m tracking right now. There are others (such as Cardenas), but these three had some nice buzz this offseason.

My biggest risers this week for Year 1 Zero RB metric is in. Frazier and Hardy join eight other freshmen RBs to go 5/5. Aneyas was close and now sits at 4/5 after being 1/5 after last week.

LaNorris Sellers going to be considered for 2026 QB1

HS model score: 90%
- 3rd in his recruit class

Labeled him as the FR 3 star QB to watch

Now showing growth and flash in year 1 of starting. Going to be fun to see if he develops more.

As #C2C playoffs start, here are guys I would be taking a shot on with an eye towards 2025 & beyond. They are barely discussed as risers or off radars. At cost, these dudes may be worth it!
