Never knows best!
See, even here we talk about it from different angles, but again come to the same conclusions. The tower of Babel, and how Marika embodies the concept of the whore of Babylon (Belurat), not only mythical but also historical, the fall of Babylon and the rise of Rome.

But I do believe it's a heaven for writers to jump into this framework and actually make connections based on historical, biblical, mythical concepts. Example; Mother archetype with internal conflict, like Ishtar & Ereshkigal. Ishtar went to the underworld, killed by Ereshkigal, and was resurrected.

When intense emotions of love, fear, or resentment toward one’s actual mother gather around the universal mother archetype, they give it personal charge and transform it into a mother complex.

He looked at it from the angle that the mother archetype has good and negative forms. Positive would be nourishment, protection, growth, fertility, and wisdom, while negative would be devouring, seduction, darkness, death, and imprisonment. How complexes (emotions) would influence these archetypes.

A lot of it seems to come down to, just like in ER, history repeating itself, wanting to label those things that had something in common. For example, mother archetype is based on characters and concepts like Mary, Isis, Demeter, Sophia, Mother Earth, the Church, the sea, caves, and the grave.

I do think his earlier work is more focussed on creating a framework, which people praise him for, but then distanced themselves from his work when he tried to record dialogues with inner figures, like Philemon. So, I kind of see him as somebody who did ER-lore videos in the early 1900s... hehe

So, it's very interesting to see how all these different roads, still end up in Leyn...d...el... l.. Rome. I'm very interested to see how you'll present your video, but by the sounds of it, I'm sure I'll enjoy it.

I've always tried to explain ER as a story that can be told in different languages, but you gravitate to the one that makes most sense to you. For example, you tie it to Plato, and I've tied it to Carl Jung, but the concept of the comic womb, syzygy and the Philosopher's Stone are still the same.

If it's not going to take up too much of your time, then I'll be glad to hear what you're working on!

@titanborne.bsky.social Just a bit of extra context..

@titanborne.bsky.social Just remembered: Tarnished embody determination, maidens carry wisdom, Evergaol prisoners are the dissociated figures we lock away, and Invaders are the intrusive thoughts that break through uninvited.

From what I've seen, heard and read on the topic so far, it just seems that a lot of people in the industry weren't fully aware of the contracts, (international) laws, rights or the situation that they find themselves in. A lot of discussions seem to have taken place, just not the right ones

Don't know why I got blocked for just looking something up, but... oh well.

From chatgpt. 'Using AI to clone a real voice actor without permission', illegal. 'Using AI for non-human voices or synthetic speech', legal. 'Using AI to modify or enhance real voice acting', requires actor's consent. China allows use of AI, but only with consent or when it's not based on a person.
