The worst hurt is the type that slowly leaves. You know you will eventually not feel it, but that makes it hurt more, because that means eventually you won’t really care anymore. And a part of you that you protected really cared once, so it must be leaving too. If only it could hurt a little longer.

If Elden Ring gets through nomination, we might be fucked in terms of getting good standalone titles anymore. At least non-indie ones. And many indie studios will see the profitability of live-service/dlc and the saturation will be insane.
