Cadets that went through the devotio ritual can gain up 50 followers depending on the morale and size of their unit. It is said that the number of followers does not relate to the powers gained on devotio, but the numbers do count.

Those who went through devotio get to stand at the front at parade. Both for the academy to use them as a tool of propaganda for the populace as well as an incentive for the untouched ones.
