@punkpioneers.bsky.social Hi Jenny, found these pages from Sounds posted on Bluesky
(@soundsclips.bsky.social). It's Darcy Diamond's article about the LA punk scene. Not sure if all the photos are yours. The one who posted this credits Kate Simon, but at least one page of them are yours.

An good breakdown of the warnings from Orwell's "1984" (compiled by Ageless Literature, a collectable book dealer). Orwell imagined a world where truth was malleable, language was a weapon, and privacy no longer existed. Here are seven lines from 1984 that no longer read like prophecy, but reality.

Mr. James was the nicest guy on the planet, and I was privileged to call him a good friend for many years. I'm devastated. RIP Brian.

Hearing the devastating news that David Johansen has died. RIP David. 💔 Here's some pics I took at the Dolls after show party with American Heartbreak & friends at the Fillmore in 2004.

Missing my friend Roxy today, on what would have been his birthday. I'm not entirely sure what garden implement he was posing with for this photo, but I'm absolutely certain that no manual labour was being done.

I realize I'm a dweeb and probably everybody has known about this forever ... but the B-side of Love's "7 and 7 Is" single is "No. Fourteen." How wonderful is that?

My favorite thing about these autographs from Brian Johnson & Angus Young isn't that Brian asked my name & spelled it correctly, or that they're both written on the back of a small business card for my old fanzine. It's that they wrote "AC/DC" after their names in case I forgot!

We were absolutely thrilled when CREEM editor J. Kordosh wrote the photo captions for issue #18 of my old fanzine. This caption for an Ace Frehley interview was my favorite!

My friend Vicki Berndt and I were at this Police/Readymades show on the Davis campus in 1979. And we've got an amazing story to tell about what happened between the two sets! But in the meantime... Here's Vicki's gorgeous photo of Andy Summers hanging out in the campus bookstore before the gig.

Jane Wiedlin from the Go-Go's - pretty sure I took this photo in 1990 when the Go-Go's & Redd Kross played at the Henry J. Kaiser Convention Center in Oakland.
